The Frankfort Fire Department came out today to talk to the students about fire safety: what to do in a fire, where to meet, how to get out...

The firefighters always do a great job of explaining things well and answering all of the students' many questions.

The students got a chance to see inside the truck as well in a walk-through.

Welcome to Flying With the Frogs...a website highlighting all the wonderful activities that we do in third grade at Indian Trail Elementary School.

I have been teaching for 25 (!!!) years. You can say that I am a well-rounded teacher, as I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I have had the awesome opportunity to teach gifted students as well as ELL and special needs students.

I am an award winning teacher! I have the honor of being a 2016 state of Illinois Those Who Excel, Teacher of the Year finalist. I am in the top ten teachers in the state of Illinois!

I am passionate about teaching. I love to engage my students in a variety of differentiated activities and love to share them here with you!
