I am one of those annoying people that won't pick a Chicago baseball team.

I was born in the city of Chicago on the South side, so I am born to be predisposed to like a certain team of the South side, but I also love visiting the Friendly Confines of the North side. So...when the Cubbies were on their winning streak, I got a little excited, as well as my students.

Cubs' wear started to show up everywhere. Everyone was SO excited!

When the Cubs had the League championship and then made it to the World Series, it got even more crazy!

When they won the World Series after a rain-delayed, nail-biter of a game, they were over the moon!

Yay! Cubbies!

Welcome to Flying With the Frogs...a website highlighting all the wonderful activities that we do in third grade at Indian Trail Elementary School.

I have been teaching for 25 (!!!) years. You can say that I am a well-rounded teacher, as I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I have had the awesome opportunity to teach gifted students as well as ELL and special needs students.

I am an award winning teacher! I have the honor of being a 2016 state of Illinois Those Who Excel, Teacher of the Year finalist. I am in the top ten teachers in the state of Illinois!

I am passionate about teaching. I love to engage my students in a variety of differentiated activities and love to share them here with you!
