Stikbots

I bought some new cool tech tools for our classroom recently...Stikbots! If you don't know what a Stikbot is, it's a jointed little friend that can be moved into positions and then filmed using stop action.

We read a story called The Albertosaurus Mystery, a story about a scientist trying to solve a mystery about some tyranasaurid bones.

Stikbots also make dino stikbots, so we made some dino movies.

The learning that went into this was intense. We did story lines and a starting storyboard. We wrote dialogue and actions. We painstakingly started to create our movies.

They saw that it takes FOREVER to create just a 10 second movie.

​All in all they had a lot of fun with it! (and learned a few things too!)
