Teach Plus

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with the people at Teach Plus this weekend at their offices in downtown Chicago.

Teach Plus is an national organization that promotes teacher leadership and empowers teachers to make an impact in their classrooms and beyond.

I was able to meet with fellow teachers and discuss topics crucial to teacher leadership.

It was a great experience, and I learned a lot.

Welcome to Flying With the Frogs...a website highlighting all the wonderful activities that we do in third grade at Indian Trail Elementary School.

I have been teaching for 25 (!!!) years. You can say that I am a well-rounded teacher, as I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I have had the awesome opportunity to teach gifted students as well as ELL and special needs students.

I am an award winning teacher! I have the honor of being a 2016 state of Illinois Those Who Excel, Teacher of the Year finalist. I am in the top ten teachers in the state of Illinois!

I am passionate about teaching. I love to engage my students in a variety of differentiated activities and love to share them here with you!
